Donor Stories
Judge Abe Lincoln Marovitz
Judge Abraham Lincoln Marovitz, a 1925 graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law, spent 38 years as a lawyer, government prosecutor, and state senator before ascending to a District Court Judgeship in 1963. Judge Abe, as he was affectionately known, passed away on March 17, 2001. His work ethic, compassion, and belief that "each day lived should include some kindness extended to another" earned the respect and admiration of countless friends and colleagues.
