Pilsen-Little Village Habitat for Humanity is a not-for-profit Christian based organization which builds and remodels homes on the lower west side of Chicago. As an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International we are dedicated to making home ownership possible for low income families.

Families work 350 hours on their home. This "sweat equity" is their down payment. They then return the cost of the home to us through monthly paymentsso that it can be re-invested into someone else's home. They pay no interest and once the house is paid...they become the homeowner.

We can build a three bedroom home or condominium available for as low as $250 per month. This makes it possible for families earning between $12,000 and $18,000 per year to be eligible for our homes.

Through generous donations and the hard work of many volunteers we are able to turn dreams into reality.
