The DQSA Research Group

Welcome to the home page of the DQSA Research Group in the Department of Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology. DQSA (Distributed Queue Switch Architecture) consists of a family of MAC (medium access control) protocols that allow a medium to be shared for communication purposes over any distance at any speed. DQSA is the enabling technology for a WAN without routers, a gigabit campus LAN without Ethernet switches, and true packet communications in all wireless networks. The DQSA Research Group was directed by Professor Graham Campbell prior to his retirement and is now inactive.
