Writing Proficiency - Students must show basic writing proficiency
by receiving a satisfactory score on the Writing Proficiency Examination
or by passing an English Composition course.

- Science Electives for Computer Science majors - A minimum of
fourteen (14) credit hours is required to fulfill this requirement. At
least one natural science or engineering elective must be in a field other
than physics. A CS major should complete PHYS 201 and PHY 202 and two
additional course chosen from the following to total 14 credit hours:
AST 101, 201; CHM 100, 110, 121, 122, 125; BIO 101, 103, 104, 105, 120,
