Concentrations and Minors

Six concentrations and four minors have been developed as listed in Table 1. More concentrations and minors will be continuously developed by corresponding departments.

The curriculums of all concentrations follow the same format with three parts: common requirement, concentration requirement and electives. The common requirement has 88 credit hours and is identical for all concentrations. The common courses cover the following areas: introduction to professions, mathematics, science, computer science, core management, humanities and social science, and inter-professional projects (IPRO). These courses are listed in Table 2.

The concentration requirement has around 30 credit hours and the required courses are designed by the corresponding concentrations. It is divided into prerequisite courses and concentration courses as listed in Table 3.

Elective courses are intended for students to choose courses according to their interest and career plan. Students may use these electives to enhance their knowledge in their selected concentrations or to pursue minors as recommended by the program. Electives can be divided into two categories: technical electives and general electives as listed in Table 4.
