Dr. George Wendt is not a typical industrial entrepreneur. He received his Ph.D. in English literature from Loyola University in 1981 and started a career in academia, but left to take over his family’s business, Chicago Rolled Metal Products. Chicago Rolled Metal Products has the greatest capacity and most experience in curving structural steel, sheet and plate in the nation.
