Constitution Index
EWB-IIT Chapter is one student chapter of over two hundred
chapters of EWB-USA, a non-profit organization. We seek
to accomplush the mission of EWB-USA: to partner with
developing communities to improve their quality of life through
the implementation of environmentally sustainable, equitable,
and economical engineering projects. EWB-USA's vision is of a world
where all people have access to the knowledge and resources with
which to meet their basic human needs.
Over the past year, EWB-IIT has been working to create an infrastructure that
supports our growing student membership. Our members join committees to work
alongside other students who share a common goal. Whether you like to plan special
events, travel to new places, meet people, raise money, or apply engineering
skills to solve global problems, EWB-IIT has a place for you to show off your talents.
This year, members also have the opportunity to attend a Fall Regional Workshop
at University of Illinois and a Spring International Conference in Milwaukee, WI
planned by EWB-USA. Being a member of EWB can also be used as a tool for
networking since workshops, conferences, and special events are sponsored by
companies looking for motivated interns and full-time employees.
