Mark D. Garfinkel

Laboratory of Molecular Developmental Genetics

Research Overview

Research in the Garfinkel lab focuses on three broad areas. First is the biochemistry, molecular genetics and developmental genetics of zinc finger transcription factors in Drosophila development. Second is molecular genetics and structural physiology of Drosophila flight muscle. Third is computational approaches to protein structure problems, and genome analysis.
