Description
|
Responsibilities include managing a major gift portfolio of 50 to 100 prospects (including prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, closing, stewardship and reporting); developing the materials necessary to support the solicitation (including written proposals, letters, etc); authoring personal acknowledgment letters from the president, volunteer leadership and other administrators as appropriate; working closely with other major gift staff, both central and decentralized, for prospect clearance, evaluation of prospects, and the joint development of cultivation and solicitation strategies (particularly in the areas of planned giving strategies); participating actively as a member of the major gift team (including donor cultivation events, development of volunteers, donor recognition, and other central staff projects).
