Outreach programs


The Innovention Program 1996/7.

The second component, held several times during the school year, involves two week Innovention Programs which center around conceiving, designing, patent searching, manufacturing, and defending a prototype product. This "hands on" program is designed to acquaint prospective scientists, engineers, and technologists with all components of the manufacturing process, a virtual factory floor, and how the different academic skills will prepare them to succeed.
