IIT CARE (Chicago Area Renewable Energy), an affiliate of Illinois Institute of Technology, was established to educate, train and communicate recent developments in the area of renewable energy technologies.

IIT CARE brings together representatives from Chicago-area public and private, for-profit and nonprofit sectors, government agencies, and academia to enhance the awareness of the usefulness and importance of renewable energy technology in our daily lives. Ultimately, the scope of IIT CARE will be expanded to include Midwest, national and international representation.

Information Center

Our Information Center section is being expanded, as are renewable energy activities in the Midwest region. In the next months, check out this section for a review of the Chicago / Midwest renewable energy activities and industries, in addition to funding opportunities. Also, you will be able to participate in our news and discussion board as we continue to discuss and formulate strategies to overcome the barriers facing renewable energies.
