Equipment |

Ball:
When the ball is new, the weight and size
of the ball are given as below:
Weight – It shall weigh not less than 5½
ounces and not more than 5¾ ounces.
Size – It shall measure not less than 8 13/16
inches and not more than 9 inches in circumference

Bat:
Length of the bat shall not be more than
38 inches in length and the blade of the bat shall
be made solely of wood and shall not exceed 4 1/4
inches at the widest part.

Wickets:
There
are 6 stumps that make up the wicket with a set of
three being present on either side of the pitch. The
top of each stump shall be 28 inches above the playing
surface and shall be dome shaped except for the bail
grooves. The size of each bail will be ½ inch
and it will be placed on top of the stumps with two
bails each being placed on the three stumps at each
end.
