The
oval ground next to baseball ground is the official
cricket ground for Summer Cricket Fiesta. The rules
for the tournaments has been decided. The participating
teams should be registered and go through the rules
carefully. The registration forms will be on the website
shortly. |

| RULES
FOR SUMMER CRICKET TOURNAMENT |

1. The tournament will be conducted in the ground next to
the baseball ground. The matches will be played with a tennis
ball. |
| 2.
Each innings will begin by using a new ball. |
| 3.
Matches will be 10 a side and 10 overs per team |
| 4.
Each bowler can bowl a maximum of 3 overs. |
| 5.
All cricket rules like wides, no balls, over throws, byes
,etc will be followed. |

6.
There will NOT be LBW (Leg before Wicket) and leg byes. |
| 7.
There will be NO last man batting. |
| 8.
NO-BALL RULE: If any part of the foot touches the line it
is a legal ball. If the foot is completely across the line,
then it is a No Ball. |
| 9.
For runs behind the batsman, any ball crossing the pavement
of Carmen will be a boundary. |
| 10.
Regarding the trees, any ball that gets locked up in the tree
will be declared a 'dead ball' and the ball will be rebowled. |
| 11.
If the ball hits any part of the tree and if the ball falls
to the ground the runs taken by the batsman will be counted.
I f the ball hits any branches and if the catch is taken,
it will be 'NOT OUT'. If the ball hits or brushes the leaves,
etc and if the catch Is taken then it will be declared out.
Umpire will make the decision. |

| DISCIPLINARY

| 12.
Use of abusive/intimidating language towards the organizers
or the Opponent players will not be tolerated. The team captain
will be given one warning and If repeated again will be expelled
from the tournament. |
| 13.
Umpires decision is final. |
| 14.
There will be a scorer who will be neutral. The participating
teams may send one representative to help the scorer. |
| 15.
Both the umpires for a particular game will be neutral and
will be from a select band of people who are nominated as
umpires for the tournament. |
