ENPRO Competition
Students at IIT have some awesome ideas. But that's all they are - just ideas. The IITEA has come forward to give these ideas a chance of implementation. If any current student of IIT has any idea, invention, innovation or business plan this is your chance. If your idea is one of three selected not only is it going to be made an IPRO/ENPRO and thus funded by IIT, you will also receive $500 per idea.
The competition has been divided into two stages.
Stage I :
- Starts on March 29th
- Come up with ideas, evaluate its feasibility
- Research on market situation of product/service
A report is to be submitted by
April 30th by each group. This report should include the following
sections:
a) Idea
b) Description/Illustration
c) Patentability and Business Plan
Selection will be done on the basis of the reports. Five selected teams will move to the second stage.
Stage II :
- More intense research requried on approved product/service.
- Build a prototype explaining the working of the product/service.
- More detailed market testing based on demand,price,etc.
Three winning teams will be selected and each will be awarded a prize money of $500 each.If selected IIT will fund your idea for the following semester to be worked on as an ENPRO.
