IIT Offering Two Summer Programs, DASH and EID

The Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) will be offering two programs for the summer. They are Early Identification (Early, ID) and Discovery Approach to Science Enhancement (DASH) programs. The Early ID program is open to African-American, Latino, or Native American students who have completed their junior year and are collegebound in a science, engineering or math discipline.

The program runs from July 6 to August 4. The DASH program is aimed at motivating and preparing
students for careers in science and engineering through a discovery process of learning and achievements. The DASH program runs from July 6 to July 28. There is no cost to attend the DASH and Early ID programs, and participants may receive a lunch stipend. The application deadline for both programs is June 15.

For more information about the two programs, visit the website at www.iit.edu/-smet. The Illinois Institute of Technology is located on 3105 South Dearborn Street in Chicago.
