Chicago AMP students flew to Albequere and then drove four hours to Las Cruces, home of New Mexico State University to present their research results at the 5th Annual NSF-AMP Student Research Conference, July 24-27 1997. Besides schmoozing with the Brass, bonding, and presenting their work, some of the group toured the desert and the White Sands National Park.
