EID Program, Rocket Science 1993

ROCKET SCIENCE- Chicago area high school students are all smiles after taking part in the second annual rocket glider competition at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) earlier this month. The custom-built gliders, (front row, center) are constructed from wood and can soar as high as 400 feet. The student were participants in Early Identification (EID), a math and science program offered at IIT that seeks to attract students to technology based professions.
