Shaheerah and Alberto were accompanied on their trip to Detroit by Dr. Peter Johnson, professor of chemistry and principal investigator for the IIT AMP sponsored Undergraduate Research Program, and Cheryl Caplan, Director of ETC and project coordiriator for the IIT AMP programs. Kim Terrell, senior in Computer Engineering and Jose Herrera, senior in Computer Science, also attended the conference as participants.
