Arriving at IIT
Taking the 'L'
There are a few way of getting from the airport to IIT. You could take the 'L' train to 35th-Bronzeville-IIT green line stop, this is he cheapest way but also the most time consuming and troublesome.
Taxi
Taking taxi could be faster than the train but taxis in Chicago is quite pricey and a cab ride from the O'Hare airport to IIT would cost about $50 , and a cab ride from Midway to IIT would cost about $40.
IIT Shuttle Bus
Another alternative is to sign up for IIT's Airport Meet & Greet Program. to take part in this program you have to arrange so that your arrive in Chicago between the 11th and 20th of August. and make sure that you will clear the custom in time for the shuttle bus ( 11 AM, 3 PM, and 7PM, monday thru saturday).
