- Student has been in lawful full-time status for one academic year.
- Job offer not required at time of application
- We recommend you submit your application at least 90 days before you want to start working on OPT. Immigration must receive your OPT application within your 60-day grace period at the latest.
- Students in an intensive English-language or certificate programs are not eligible for optional practical training.
- You're not eligible for OPT if you have exceeded 12 months of full-time CPT during this program level.
