Basic Eligibility to Apply
  • Student is in F-1 immigration status.
  • Student has been enrolled full-time for atleast one academic year.
  • Employment must be related to the current field of study.
  • Job offer not required at time of application.
  • Students are elligible for 12 months of OPT per higher degree level.
  • Students in an intensive English-language or certificate programs are not eligible for optional practical training.
  • Students are not eligible for OPT if they have exceeded 12 months of full-time CPT during the current academic program and/or program level.
