Tips to file IL 1040
Line 1: The amount of Line 4, From your Adjusted Gross Income of the 1040-NR-EZ.
Line 10: Exemption: You can claim 1 exemption, which is $2050
Line 11 & 13: You are a resident of Illinois if you have lived and
worked in Illinois in 2011, even if you are filing your federal tax
return as a non-resident.
Line 12: DO NOT check the non-resident box.
Line 15: If the amount is negative, you can put 0.
Step 13 on pg.2: Sign at the Signature section.

Mail the tax return, with 1 copy of the W2 from each employer.

If you will receive a state refund or do not owe money, send Form IL-1040 with copies of 8843 and 1040 NR-EZ to:

If you owe money, send Form IL-1040 with copies of 8843 and 1040 NR-EZ to:

Remember to Sign your return and make a copy of your entire tax return prior to sending it to the IRS !!!
