Volberding Hi. I'm Beth Volberding and I'm originally from Tulsa, OK. I'm in my final semester here at IIT and I have just taken part in my third national competition in swimming. My two evens are the 100 fly and the 500 free. My best times are: 100 Fly 1:04.44; 500 Free 5:58.92. I have been fairly active on campus during my tenure. I have been a project assistant for Dr. Robert Stetter where I conducted experiments on prototype electrochemical leak detection devices. I was also an assistant director with the Women in Science and Engineering Program. I spent two years as an activemember of SLC. I am also a member of Alph Sigma Alpha.
