Project Management in the Private Sector
This semester we face the challenge of managing a large team. Based on previous semester’s experience, the IPRO team decided to take a different approach to managing the IPRO deliverables. Our IPRO decided to create a management team to help meet group deadlines and to document the entire progress made by other teams as well as the entire IPRO. In addition, three other teams were created to maximize the efficiency of our overall team. This division of work allowed our IPRO to complete the development of various aspects of the product at the same time. Without a well-defined project management system, we would have faced problems organizing our individual projects and delegating work to all groups of the IPRO. How should work be divided? What kind of timeline should the work follow? How can we maximize the efficiency of each group? These are the problems we faced when designing a project management process that could meet the requirements and time constraints of our products. What kinds of goals should each product satisfy?
