Scholars of the Lost Exhibit
The IPRO team took the general storyline from the previous semester and expanded on it. This semester's deliverables include hand-drawn storyboards, with descriptions of the appropriate sound effect for each slide, for the introduction of Scholars of the Lost Exhibit as well as for all the games in the Science wing, computer mockup screenshots, and one game that is available for download.

3-D Environment
Our IPRO team chose to program Scholars of the Lost Exhibit in isometric projection (ISO) for a number of reasons. First, it simplifies the task of animating the game. In a real three-dimensional environment, as objects move farther away they get smaller, which would make the game much more complicated to program. In ISO, the illusion of spatial separation is accomplished by comparing an object's position on the screen relative to the surrounding objects. Second, a real three-dimensional environment would require a lot of computing power to render everything. By using ISO, our games could achieve the feel of three-dimensional world without requiring the player to have modern hardware. Finally, many educational games that exist today use normal two-dimensional environments. Programming Scholars of the Lost Exhibit in ISO gives us the competitive advantage, in that it will provide the player with a fresh environment to play in, therefore, making it truely entertaining. Storyline
Below is the storyboard, in which the player is introduced to the story of Scholars of the Lost Exhibit. The story begins with the player filling out a permission slip for a class field trip. After picking a character, the player is taken on a field trip to the museum. When the school bus drops the class in front of the museum, everyone gets off. However, the player forgets something on the bus and goes back on to get it. When the player gets off the bus to join the rest of the class, everyone is gone. Panicking, the player runs into the museum.
