Games
Children have short attention spans and need frequent positive reinforcements. Thus, when designing entertaining games for children, it is important to keep the game concept simple and the amount of time to complete a game short. There are three games in the Science wing: Constellation, Lunar Phase, and Planets. The inspiration to pick the Solar System as the topic for the Science wing came from the observation that it was a topic students was interested in, but had little knowledge. For each game, a single storyboard was first created. After deciding on the basic elements, a storyboard depicting the storyline was developed. Lastly, a computer mockup screenshot was created.

Constellation Game
The idea behind the Constellation Game is to teach the player different constellations in relation to the North Star. The game starts by introducing the player to four constellations: ursa minor, ursa major, caseopia, and orion. The player is then presented with a picture of one of the constellation he or she had just learned. The player will need to choose the stars he or she think makes up the constellation. After the player believes he or she has choosen the correct stars, the player will need to click the "Connect" button. If the constellation is correctly identified with the right stars, the constellation will connect with a line and the player will see the picture of the constellation. If a wrong star was choosen by accident, the player will see the picture of the constellation again, but will move on to a new constellation. The game is completed once all the constellations have been connected. A beta version of the Constellation Game is available for download.
