If you happened to skip a meeting or two, here is what you missed:

Week  Meeting Minutes
Team members reported the characteristics of websites, games, and other interfaces they liked and disliked.  Discussed about detailed narrative planning for the Science wing and the overall game, as well as characters, dialogs, and game flow.   Read articles on programming and collaboration between design and programming teams.  Identified discussion lists, bulletin boards, and chat rooms for parents, teachers, and children for netnography.  Observed interactions, what people talk about in regard to certain age groups and education, and how children in the target age group speak to one another and interact online.  Each member will be developing one character in depth.
Discussed about the characters each member developed, and the different personality of each character and how the character will act.  Continued development of characters.
Continued developing characters: drawings on paper and in software.  Created a list of what the was needed from the User Experience team, like attention span.  Refined interactions in the Science wing.  Discussed about the amount of time the player will have to spend in each wing.  Met with Programming team to discuss about game introduction.  Talked about having a helping character in each wing.  Need to decide which characters are needed and which are not necessary to prevent confusion.  Discussed about kid's frustrations when playing certain games.
Determined the layout of the lobby and the Science wing, and what each wing will have.  Created dialogs for each character developed.
Discussed about objects for each character, each wing, and their function of helping out.  Also talked about the screenshots and how it would look in different scenarios.  Started talking about Plants Game content.  Need to make sure game content matches to grade-level materials.  Discussed about where to find Constellation Game content and the flow of the game, and how Lunar Game should look.  Talked about names for each wing.  Agreed on the role of the scientist in each wing.  Working on dialogues in each game and the introductory dialog.
Reviewed basic setup for Constellation game and Lunar game.  Started working on mockup screenshots for Constellation game.  Continued developing dialoges for the introduction, instructions, and actions.  Updated rough images of each character in Illustrator.  Talked about adding another exhibit in the Science wing.
