Ayo Ayodele

Ayo is a 4th year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science with a minor in Psychology. His interests include: Playing basketball, computer games, and learning about business, marketing, and accounting. Ayo also played for the IIT basketball team for 4 years. This is Ayo’s second IPRO. His first IPRO dealt with Tech News. Upon graduation in the spring of ’06, Ayo plans to pursue a career in the field of accounting.

Saurabh Dass

Saurabh is a 4th year student pursuing Bachelor of Science Degrees in both Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. His interests include: film, music, guitar, and Halo 2. This is Saurabh’s second IPRO, his first IPRO dealt with Robotics. Upon graduation in the fall of ‘06, Saurabh plans to find a job in the electrical engineering field.

Ankit Desai

Ankit is a 4th year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular Biochemistry, and Biophysics. His interests include: Tennis, football, basketball, and videogames. This is Ankit’s second IPRO experience. His first IPRO dealt with creating a video rental store on the IIT campus. Upon graduation in the spring of ’06, Ankit plans on attending Medical school.

Jason Frumkin

Jason is a 4th year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering. His interests include: sports, music, and volunteer work. This is Jason’s second IPRO. His first IPRO dealt with Architectural Engineering that dealt with the design for senior housing. Upon graduation in the spring of ’06, Jason plans to find a job in his related field.

Jonathon Komyathy

Jonathon is a 4th year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science. His interests include: Writing computer programs, working with databases, and studying video games. This is Jonathon’s second IPRO, as he entered this IPRO continuing from the previous semester. Upon graduation in the spring of ’06, Jonathon plans to find a job as a software engineer, programmer, or designer somewhere on the west coast.
  Jason Novak
Jason previously graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering. After working in the field for three years, Jason decided to attend law school. Jason is currently attending the Chicago-Kent College of law, will graduate with his Juris Doctor this spring and will start as an associate in the intellectual property department at Bell, Boyd & Lloyd LLC this fall. He enrolled in this IPRO to get a chance to come back to the main campus and interact with current students one last time before his graduation.

Maggie Peterson

Maggie is a 3rd year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering. Her interests include: being vice president of Kappa Phi Delta sorority, occasionally playing the guitar, and reading. This is Maggie’s first IPRO experience. Upon graduation in the spring of ’07, Maggie plans to attend Graduate school to further her studies.

Bezaleel I. Robinson

Bezaleel is a 4th year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering. His interests include: sports, music, graphics design, and film. This is Bezaleel’s second IPRO, his first IPRO dealt with creating a sustainable village. Upon graduation in the spring of ’06, Bezaleel plans to find a job in the Computer Engineering field, and possibly entering Graduate School.

Michael B. Stohl

Michael is a 4th year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. His interests include: sports, going out, being with family/friends. Michael also played for the IIT basketball team for 4 years. This is Michael’s second IPRO. His first IPRO dealt with preventing bird collision with windows. Upon graduation in the spring of ‘06, Michael is set to work with a power engineering company in Wisconsin.

Andrew J. Wilk

Andrew is a 4th year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering. His interests include: working on cars, working with mobile electronics, and snowboarding. This is Andrew’s first IPRO experience. Upon graduation in the fall of ‘06, Andrew plans to find a job in a related field of his studies.

Sungwoo Yang

Sungwoo is a 4th year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry. His interests include: nanotechnology, biotechnology, and basketball. Sungwoo is also a research assistant in the chemistry department. This is Sungwoo’s second IPRO experience. Upon graduation in the spring of ’06, Sungwoo plans to go to Duke University for Graduate School.

Kevin R. Lerash (TEAM LEADER)

Kevin is a 3rd year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science as well as a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. His interests include: music, reading, politics, and sociology. This is Kevin’s first IPRO experience. Upon graduation in the spring of ‘08, Kevin plans to find a job in either a political or social institution and possibly attend Graduate School for sociology.

George Skontos (TEAM LEADER)

George is a 4th year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics with a minor in History. His interests include: Military history, videogames, and airplane models. This is George’s first IPRO experience. Upon graduation in spring 2007 George plans on pursuing his Mathematics degree and also hopes to continue to study history. George’s goals are to eventually become a teacher at the college level.

Sagar Shah (TEAM LEADER)

Sagar is a 3rd year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science with minors in Psychology and Business Management. His interests include: film, photography, music, and technology. This is Sagar’s second IPRO, as he entered this IPRO continuing from the previous semester. Upon graduation in the spring of ‘07, Sagar plans to pursue career prospects while attending law school enrolling in the JD/MBA program with a concentration in Corporate Law and Finance.

Jeanne Link

Jeanne is the Head of Instruction and Outreach for the Paul V. Galvin Library. She is a key external source to the IPRO team. She came to be a librarian due to her fascination with information and accessibility and a desire to help people understand technology in order to get the information that they need. Outside the library, her world revolves around the love of her life, her dog Tiva and she suffers from a common North American female weakness for fabulous shoes.

Janet Staker Woerner

(TEAM ADVISOR)

Professor Woerner has over 25 years of experience in the field of marketing and marketing communications. She brings a wealth of knowledge in marketing, marketing communications and corporate education. She also has extensive experience in the area of technology-based solutions for marketing. Most recently Prof. Woerner has been researching the area of accelerating change and the societal implications on a global scale. She is a fellow at the Center on Nanotechnology and Society at the Chicago Kent College of Law (IIT). Outside interests include a passion for reading, adventure travel, and spending time on the family farm. She resided in the Western suburbs, has three daughters and a dog, Brit.
