Project Description

During the Spring 2003 semester, students participating in the Ed Kaplan Entrepreneurial Fellows Program at IIT have been engaged in a course in Invention and Creativity that is developing their ability to manage the innovation process for new ideas. One outcome of this course will be two new Entrepreneurial IPRO topics that will be pursued during the Fall 2003 semester by the Ed Kaplan Fellows and other IIT students from appropriate disciplines. These topics will be listed here at the end of the current semester, once they are developed and approved. We anticipate that two new venture teams will be organized through this EnPRO. Each team will operate independently, but both teams will be required to address all of the requirements of an EnPRO project. At this time, students may enroll in this IPRO course "on speculation" or may wish to wait to see what the specific new venture topics will be. What you can be sure of is that the ideas for these EnPRO projects will come from the Ed Kaplan Fellows themselves. If you are interested in seeing the presentation of their ideas at the end of the Spring semester, please contact either Francisco Ruiz (ruiz@iit.edu) or Jay Fisher (fisherj@iit.edu). Once the topics are approved, appropriate faculty will be identified to guide the EnPRO teams that are created.
