How do I become an ISO Member ?

Due to the sheer size of the international student community here at IIT, ISO does not hold general body meetings. Once you are registered at the International Center as an international student, you will receive periodic e-mails about events on / off campus.

How are ISO and International Center related ?

The ISO board collaborates closely with the International Center in organizing major events like the International Fest and Taste of IIT. Both work to facilitate easy guidance for not only incoming International Students during the orientation week but also for the entire IIT community thorughout the semester.

What Is the ISO "Meet and Greet Program" ?

The Meet and Greet Program is organized by ISO in collaboration with International Center to greet incoming international students at the Airport and facilitate their movement and settlement on and around the IIT campus.

What Is the "International Fest" ?

The International Fest is a historical event with over 25 fests already in the catalog. It is an event comprising a "Day Event" featuring multicultural cuisines and displays followed by the "Evening Performance" when the IIT community comes together in showcasing their talents in the form of songs, dances etc.

What Is the "Taste of IIT" ?

The "Taste of IIT" is a manifestation of the "Day Event" of the International Fest exclusively featuring cuisines from the multicultural IIT community.

What do I do to participate in the "International Fest" / "Taste of IIT" ?

The ISO announces and publicizes particular details about participating as an Individual/Organization well before the International Fest / Taste of IIT.
