Post-Doctorate Researcher and Faculty Positions in Techno-Economics and Policy Program Seoul National University Graduate Program of Techno-Economics and Policy The Seoul National University Techno-Economics and Policy Program (SNUTPP) invites applications for the following 3 positions in all fields of applied economics: 1. Potential faculty members for tenure track or non-tenure track at the assistant level or above beginning March 1, 2000, or as soon as possible thereafter. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree and a strong record of excellence in research and instruction as well as fluency in English. Background in engineering or natural science is not necessary but preferred. The term of the appointment will be a 2-4 year fixed term contract depending on the applicant. Renewal of contract is possible. The standard teaching load will be four courses per an academic year. Salary will be comparable to that of other public universities in Korea. In addition, health insurance will be provided. 2. One non-tenure track research faculty position sponsored by the government program, ¡°Brain Korea 21,¡± beginning immediately. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree and a strong record of excellence in research as well as fluency in English. The term of the appointment will be a 1-3 year fixed term contract depending on the applicant. Renewal of contract is possible. Salary will be comparable to that of other public universities in Korea. 3. One post-doctorate research position sponsored by the government program, ¡°Brain Korea 21,¡± beginning immediately. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree and a strong record of excellence in research as well as fluency in English. The term of the appointment will be a 1-2 year fixed term contract depending on the applicant. Renewal of contract is possible. The Techno-Economics and Policy Program at Seoul National University (SNUTPP) is an interdisciplinary graduate program in the College of Engineering.
