One thing to note about those numbers is that while Classmates had one of the lowest positive growth rates at 10%, they spend loads on advertising while MySpace, Youtube, and Facebook haven't spent a penny. If I recall correctly, a couple years ago Classmates.com was one of the 10 largest spenders on online advertising. There are plenty of new social networking sites poping up but what get's me why can't myspace there instant messenger working. $580 mill and can't afford to fix instant messenger BAD myspace. Because too much people become blood bond to Daniel Kreisky, he decide to altered his basic ritual, Engaging the Vessel of Transference. After many years of research (and many blood bond by the side) he finally come to this advanced version of the ritual.

System: Engaging the Vessel of Gio work exactly as Engaging the Vessel of Transference. You still need a bowl, or any thing that can contain blood (e.g. a small tube in the center of your hand, for handshakes !) You put a blood point in it (wich will be absorbed by the object) and the ice cube (for the chilling sensation). Then you perform the ceremonial text, wich end by Mundus vult decipi, ergo decepiatur (he world wants to be fooled, thus it is fooled) Now, the item is enchanted. The first person who touch it will give a blood point, and then the ritual will end. The bad news is that the victim will not be blood bond to the caster, but the victim can't know what juste happens, the chilling sensation is dispelled. You can now take the item because the spell is no more. But you still can recast it at will. Nota : You can just cast the ritual on a vial, wich is attached to a tube. Just change the vial aud the ritual continue... So you can have many vials with the rituals in your pocket and change it in 5 minutes. Juste make shure you don't touch it with your bare hands.

With this ritual a Thaumaturgist can see the traces left by a mortal, a ghoul or another kindred. These traces are represented visually as bright color spots, the color being the respective color of the individual’s aura visible only to the vampire. In this way tracking of a subject can become much easier since these traces can be easily singled out even at places of concentrated activity such as a large building or even a much trodden avenue. For the ritual to take place the Thaumaturgist must posses the subjects secretions: seat, semen or any other bodily fluid. He then boils the secretion with a small amount of his own vitae and washes his eyes with the mixture while chanting the appropriate words. In order this ritual to work with another kindred as a subject, the subject must first be touched with the mixture, then add some vitae of his own in the mixture. That way for the duration of the ritual’s effects, the vampire secrets pheromones as a mortal would. That makes him subject to common investigation as well as his fingerprints stay on surfaces like a mortal’s would. This ability can be passed to another but then the other kindred must use his blood in the mixture and wash his eyes with it. The duration of the ritual is until the pheromones dissapear in the environment usually 72 hours after the ritual. While being able to see the traces of another the Thaumaturgist may not repeat the ritual.

System: The investigator makes an investigation + perception roll : 1 success :The Investigator sees the traces faintly in empty spaces 2 successes: The investigator sees the traces in a room full of people 3 successes: The investigator can follow the traces in empty streets 4 successes: The investigator can follow the traces under normal conditions in streets with much traffic and circulation. 5 + successes: The investigator senses the traces even if they are accidentally or purposefully hidden from him. If the subject realizes that he is leaving these traces he can make an attempt t conceal them. In this case an extended opposed check is made (the subject rolls intelligence + stealth). The target number of successes is 15. A botched attempt removes five successes from the total.

System: First you must melt the rubber band using Lure of Flames. You must use Lure of Flames! Then you mix it with the crushed amber and apply it to the weapon. If the weapon is extended into killing someone... it only deals weapon damage.. not strenght + weapon.

Release the spirits (the spirit will escape with a bursting flash) The spiritual cleansing is now complete

Ash Wednesday

Comments: This is a Spirit Thaumathurgy Ritual that can only be used if that path is mastered. Ash Wednesday originated among the anti-tribu.
Time Required: 60 min to prepare the ashes, 1 action to annoint on the forehead.
Duration: Prepared ashes will last a year under good care. The annointing lasts until it is rubbed off, or 10 combat rounds.
Components: Ashes from a burned Vampire.

This description is coupled with an ignoblis rite practiced in the Sabbat Pack Hatred. A mortal is embraced, and given the creation rites. As soon as he claws his way out of the ground, he is staked. The newly embraced mortal is brought back to the communal haven, where he is made a honorary member of the pack (no vaulderie). The newly embraced vampire is then thrown on a pyre and burned. During the "martyrdom", the pack members participate in a ghost dance. The spirit thaumathurgist then collects the ashes and anchors the soul of the vampire into the ashes through the use of this ritual. The collected ashes are saved, to be "annointed" on the foreheads of the pack members before combat.

System: When the ashes are annointed, the recipient gains the following abilities for the duration: 1) the ability to do aggravated damage with his bare hands. 2) the ability to become incorporal for an action (but taking one health level of damage) 3) resistance to pain: unphased by pain until torpor. The recipient's skin also turns a pale bluish-grey for the duration, and is icy-cold to the touch.

Apprentice´s Bane

With a mere fingersnip, the caster can produce quite an amount of dirt of any kind within sight. Possibilities include ketchup, dust, dried mud, cut fingernails, or any combination of any kind of mundane dirt. This ritual is commonly used to give an apprentice something to do when the caster thinks the individual has too much time.

System: The stuff created is permanent and absonlutely real, however, it´s quite hard to clean it up. Upon casting, the caster may set up the time it will take to clean the "infected" place, from a minute to an hour, regardless of which method of cleaning is used. Using this ritual does not prevent the use of the ritual "donning the mask of shadows" nor does it prevent obfuscate. It can also be cast from the astral plane (auspex 5) if the caster also spends a point of willpower.

The ritual lets you perform another ritual (such as Chill of the windsabre....) right up intill the final word. The instead of this word, the holy incantation "And with some sticky backed plastic" must be chanted in a sweet, innocent voice. When this ritual is to be used, merely say "And heres one I made earlier!"

System: This ritual is automatic to cast, however, due to the numerous problems, it takes about an hour to get ready. An, of course, the other ritual must be cast as well.

Comments: A ritual to make the casters blood have similar effects as lupine blood on other Kindred.
Time Required: 20 minutes, including time to prepare the components.
Duration: Until the next sunset (12-24 hours)
Components: A scrap of wolf fur, a pint (1 bp) of the vampires own vitae, the bone of some predatory creature (a human murderer would work as well as a lions)

The vampire takes the scrap of fur, and ties it to the end of the bone. Then dipping it, stirring 3 times widdershins (counterclockwise) he draws it out, and scribes a pentacle on his forehead with the bloodsoaked fur. He then speaks the latin word for rage. The blood in the bowl bursts into flames, and the pentacle on his forehead dissapears. The fur also bursts into flame.

System: The wizard enacts the movements of the ritual sucessfully by succeeding on a Int+Tha (or Occ, whichever is higher.) Any vampire or ghoul drinking of his blood must first make a Willpower roll (difficulty of the casters sucesses +4, to a maximum of 10.) to avoid going into a frenzy. If he does frenzy, he will most likely leave the prone ritualist alone, as long as he dosn't move. Otherwise, it duplicates the effects of lupine vitae, each point recuding the frenzy difficulty by 1.

Melt the candel-wax. Crush the incense into the wax. Pour the drug into the mixture. Mold the wax/incense into four candles and ligth them (there has to be *lots* of wax). Soak the container in the blood.

System: Intelligence + Thaumaturgy/Occult vs. diff. 6. 3 succeses needed or the components/time are spoiled.

System: Roll Wits+Occult, diff 6. Successes determine how well the shield disguises (Add to Difficulty). Failure produces nothing and a botch makes detection and attack. This will work against Auspex, Dominate, Presence, Serpentis, and any other Discipline that works on the mind and/or emotions.

A staff may be used in a variety of ways, but carrying it around is quite cumbersome. However, a small piece of wood, slightly larger than one's fist, when properly enchanted can become a staff upon demand.

System: Roll Intelligence+Occult, diff 6. At least one success is needed to create the staff. Five or more will make the staff unbreakable as long as the maker lives. Failure renders no effect and a botch destroys the wood.

This Ritual was Designed to allow research to be unhindered by Day time or need for rest. This rituals main use is to reduce research time.

System: The ritual lasts one day for each blood trait the casting vampire spends. It allows research to be performed 24 hours a day. The ritual lasts until the vampire has finished their research, has taken damage or has reached the end of the number of days set by the number of blood traits. The vampire is unaware of any surroundings other than thier research material. At the end of the ritual the vampire automatically looses all blood and enters a blood frenzy. It is a good idea to have a blood source re ady.

El ritual se realiza con el objetivo de conocerlo y saber todo en canto ha otro vastago (espiarlo), mientras el taumaturgo poseea el anillo de oro, el podra ver y oir todo lo que ocurra en torno al o a los anillos de plata que este puede obsequiar a quealquier personao vastago, sin que este sepe en algun momento que el mago esta escuchando todo y viendo todo en cuanto a lo que acontece alrededor del espiado...

System: el ritual debe realizarse en una habitacion bañada en humo de corteza de Canelo (arbol sagrado de los mapuches) por toda una hora, y luegon con Sal de mar se debe hacer en el centro de la habitacion dos circulos, uno dentro del otro, en el del centro se debe colocar el anillo de oro ( el del Taumaturgo) y entre el circulo del centro y el de afuera se colocan los anillos de plata, luego se realiza una cantico para cada anillo de plata que se tenga y gstar un punto de sangre por cada uno de ellos, despues estos canticos seran usados para que este teumaturgo cuando invoque a uno de los anillos ancantados, no se invocado otro que no se desee, cada cantico debe ser especifico y unico para cada anillo de plata, para su posterior invocacion... despues de realizar estos canticos el ritual estaria consumado y solo puede ser desecho por el propio taumaturgo y simplemente derretir los anillos de plata o oro y fundirlos con cobre, mientras estos anillos esten fundidos con cobre, el encantamiento sobre ellos estara suspendido, pero si por algun motivo se llegara a reunir nuevamente el oro o plata pura el ritual dejaria de estar en suspension para volver a tomar efecto...

Arachnia's Bloody Vengeance

Components: Five points of the caster's vitae, plus enough powdered spider web to create a three foot diameter circle on the floor

To perform this specialized ritual of assasination, the caster must perform two specific rituals on two consecutive nights. On the first night, he must draw the ritual circle on the floor of his ritual space. The cirlce is tho be drawn in powdered spider web. Take heed that no spider may be killed in the collecting of this material. Over the course of the night, he then chants the ritual of supplication to the arachnid gods, beseeching against his enemies. At apointed intervals, he stains the powdered web with his vitae, taken directly from his body, as tribute and food for the helper to come. If the ritual has been properly performed, there will be a tiny, almost invisible spider in the center of the circle when the caster returns the following night. The caster must then spend the night slowly and accurately tell the spider the greek tale of Arachnia, who was transformed into a spider for daring to compare her weaving abilities to that of a goddess. During the telling, the spider will feed on the blood in the circle. At the end of the tale, the caster speaks the name of his foe, and spider leaves to hunt him down.

System: the spider moves remarkably fast, but no quicker than a person walking swiftly. It will remain active for a week, and unfailing tracks down it's prey. Auspex may warn of danger or even of the type of danger, but in general, the spider goes unnoticed. Its bite is fatal to mortals within an hour at the most. Kindred suffer a different effect from the poisoned bite. Each half hour, the poison will try to corrupt a set number of B.P. roll Man + Occ to get a pool. Difficulty is the victims willpower. the poison remains active until it fails to corrupt any blood, or the victim is dead. Blood loss of course causes frenzy and torpor, but not actually death. I know It's a long ritual, but it is a cool one, and the search for it can be a good focus for a side story

This Ritual allows the caster to reassign all of her physical attributes to mental attributes. The caster can decide how to spend the points and is allowed to go above their maximum limit.

System: The caster must first make a willpower roll difficulty 7 for the shock to her system. If that roll is successful they must then make an Intelligence Occult roll difficulty 7 for the actual ritual. The ritual may be dropped at any time giving the caster back all her Physical attributes. However while under the effects of this ritual the caster will automatically fail any roll where a physical attribute is required only fortitude and potence will allow the caster to attack or soak damage.

Numbing the Canite Power

This ritual was created to be used in combination with the ritual of "Bottle the Canite Vitae". Using the blood of the victim, the Magus is able to temporarily remove a disciplin from his target. The Magus must retain knowledge of the target having this disciplin, e.g. a clan disciplin, thus one cannot remove a disciplin at random.

System: The Magus and the target will engage in a contest of wills - the outcome of this opposed Willpower roll will determine whether the Magus is successful in numbing the power.

Bottle the Canite Vitae

This is a ritual created for the purpose of blood manipulation. The value of another kindred's blood is to a Tremere high indeed. Thus this ritual copies the effects of the fourth power of the Path of Blood, only instead of transferring the blood to the veins of the magus, it transfers it to the bottle. The blood captured is equal to a single blood pool point.

System: The ritual is systemwise to be treated much like the Path of Blood power - save that the target number is always 7, and three successes are needed to bottle the blood. (Less than three may have the blood end up at the ground in front of the magus).

Armor of Rags

Comments: This ritual is really meant for LARP but I always meant to translate it and counts as Intermediate ritual for LARP.
Time Required: 20 minutes
Duration: 1 evening
Components: 1 piece of iron or other metal weighing no less then 1 pound, a cauldron or large container, clothing to be affected, and 5 blood traits

Fill a container with 5 blood traits along with the piece of metal. While stirring and chanting, add whatever clothing is to be effected. The ritual ends when the clothing has absorbed the blood traits and the metal.This leaves only the clothing which will now reveil a slightly reddish tint.

System: After the 20 minute ritual is complete the caster must immediately make a Wits + Occult test (dif. 7). Each success gives the caster one extra dice for soaking damage from the clothing. This may not exceed 5 dice. (For LARP the caster is considered to have 3 extra healthy levels. When all the extra health levels expire, the clothing disintegrates.)

Virtue of the servant

The Tremere breaks the stone and during complicated chanting spreds the stonedust over his servant.

System: The gargoyle gains a protecting surface of stone that protects him from sunlight and gives hm an additional three soak dices. ( to be compared with fortitude ) The drawback to this however is that because to hindered movement the Gargoyle loses 3 dice on any activity involving movement and dexterity. And for every 1 damage the gargoyle takes (after soak) one of these dices are lost and this makes him wounrable to sunlight. 3 Totally protected 2 Partialy covered 1 Some cover Damage of sunlight to ST discretion.

Elixer of the Salubri Eye

Comments: This ritual is known by few Trmere outside of the creator's "circle". It is highly guarded, for obvious reasons.
Time Required: 24 hours (from one sunset to another)
Duration: Until all blood is consumed
Components: 5 candles (made from beeswax, and each infused with a blood point from the caster), 8 blood points from the caster, 5 human blood points, a crystal decanter, a silver plate and goblet, 2 human eyes, and a vampire eye.

The caster places the candles around the plate in a circle, covering each with a blood point of his blood, and lights them clockwise. He then places the three eyes in the shape of a pyramid (the vampire eye on top) on the plate. A blood point is then p oured over each eye (from the goblet). The caster then chants from sunrise to sunset the next day. At sunset, the caster places the eyes in the decanter. Finally, the human blood is transferred from the goblet to the decanter. Chanting begins again. At th e finish, the candles are extinguished in reverse (counter-clockwise) The blood takes on mystic qualities, and will heal 1 point of aggravated damage for each blood point consumed from the decanter.

System: The caster must make a Stamina+Occult (diff. 8; 3 successes) to see if he can perform the ritual at all (the difficulty is lowered 1 point for Iron Will, Light Sleeper, and/or every point above 3 in Self-Control) All Roschreck rules apply for candles (f ailing the role means the ritual cannot be performed for at least a week, and botching means the caster may never perform the ritual and will gain a derangement. Also, the ingredients must be gathered beforehand, and CANNOT be expended on the night of the ritual (if the caster's eye is used, plucking it out does 3 levels of aggravated damage, healed normally). Also, note that the ritual will work only once for each decanter prepared (no "refills")

Walk the lands of the Dead

Comments: This ritual is very rare, and must usually be taught by a teacher.. The only person who I know of with knowledge is Gavron Lillith, now dead and in the shadowlands...

This ritual, created by Gavron Lillith, allows the tremere using it to rend the shroud wide open and enter the shadowlands. It lasts one night.

System: You simply stand in the centre of a haunt (or place where the shroud is thin) and intone mystic words.. A thick grey mist will seep into the room and you will find yourself in the shadowlands. You must return to the area you entered by dawn or be foreve r stuck in the shadowlands... It is wise not to use this on outdoor haunts, just incase you must re-emerge at dawn..

Dimoned Whip.

Soak whip in blood for 1 week then rub dimiond dust into whip. Let dry. Whip will now Cause agreveted damage to target when hit causeing intese pain(-2 to soak roll's). Less powerfull version of the dimoned rod.(Cause's -3 to soak) Damage for both is Str.(+ potence).

System: Difficulty 5 aginst caster's Thamaturgy rateing. 4 sucesess's needed to activate.

Evoke & Bind Umbrood Minora

Components: A prepared object, to house the bound spirit in. Cam be a (temporary) 1-use fetish object or something breakable (releases spirit / activates power. )

This ritual must be performed in full formal hermetic fashion. An elaborate ceremony in which the evocationist must have several objects that serve as 'foci' representing the appropraite sphere. The ST should have the magus, spend one week in study of that sphere knowledge & philosophy, to know the correct items & mindset to be in for the ritual.

System: Treat as you would the Mage sphere (Spirit 2) Where the magnus can call upon spirits from any sphere & have it perform/emulate one (small) task of that sphere for the caster. Upon doing the task (of sphere level 2 or lower) the spirit is released & the object that housed it crumbles.

This ritual is a more powerful version of "communicate with kindred sire". Upon casting, the Thaumaturgist may enter into telepatheic communcuation with anyone he shares bonds of blood with, i.e. his sire or child, or anyone to whom he is blood bonded or is blood bounded to him.

System: Target may resist the telepathic content with willpower roll, diff 8, one success.

Destroy the Bond of Blood

Components: Cobra Venom, and a drop of the tremere's blood

This ritual was created along time ago, and is seldom used. It rips all imprints of clan, linage, etc from the vampire. It is extremly painful.

System: The tremere forces the victum to drink a small cup of cobra venom, mixed with his own blood. The venom courses through his blood causing all imprings of clan, linage, etc to be destroyed. The victum becomes a caitiff.

This is a sinister little ritual for bonding your enemies . These magick bullets tranfer some of your blood into another kindred or werewolfs blood and put them one step towards being bound to you.since 22 caliber bullets will hardly kill either type o f these creatures. it is best to use this if you already have the target creature two steps bound to you already!

System: first you get some 22 caliber bullets and some blood capsules , and some wax you must chant the proper incantations over a bullet ,wax,and capsule for a half hour each when finished the three capsule enters the bullet and the wax binds it to it and magickally keeps the blood safe as the bullet is fired. once the bullet hits the ta rget it is required to inflict one point of damage or it doesnt work and the bullet is wasted.

The caster must setup in a proper summoning circle and place the Ankou statuette in a bowl containing a total of 5 blood points(any type), then must chant the Kabala passage word for word over the next four hours. If successful it will summon a Wamphyri , a little known strain of shock troop vampire that was bred for the Tzimisce Wars.

System: Once the ritual is complete the caster then makes a Charisma + Occult roll resisted by the Wamphyri's Willpower(determined randomly by the Storyteller) if succesful the Wamphyri is compelled to leave it's hiding place and travel to the location of the caster, it will home in unerringly on the caster. Once it has arrived the caster must make a Manipulation + Intimidation roll resisted by the Wamphyri's Wits + 3. If successful the Wamphyri will follow the casters orders so long as he owns the statuette, should he lose it for whatever reason the Wamphyri will turn on him. **Storyteller should make up the Wamphyri as a disfigured, winged Caitiff created to fight and nothing else.**

This ritual was designed as a way to keep certain volatile criminals from betraying their Tremere masters by them. The Tremere forms a circle of around himself and the subject, the comming from himself and his subject. As the ritual chanting reaches it's climax, the pearl is placed on the subject's chest, and painfuly melts into their heart (This does no damage.). Then, the thaumaturge places the pearl amulet around their own neck. The amulet need only be worn that night, and may be reused. The subject is then made aware of the peril they now are in: any time the domitor takes damage, the subject feels the pain; if the domitor dies, the subject shall die painfully, the pearl exploding their heart. This gives the subject a vested interest in the survival of the domitor.

System: The ritual takes one full night, under the full moon (Not neccessarily under it's light.). The domitor makes an Intelligence + roll, difficulty the target's stamina. If three successes are achieved, the ritual takes place. If the domitor takes damage, the subject receives the wound penalty for one round, much like the Brother's weakness. if the Domitor dies, the subject's heart explodes. This usually will kill the subject (Storyteller's discretion, but it's highly recomended.)

Normally, a Thaumaturgist will only study rituals that he has the ability to use at the time - this assures that he will have things that he can use readily. However, there is nothing to prevent him from learning rituals of a greater complexity. He just can't use them. This ritual allows the Thaumaturgist to slowly draw magical energies, focusing them into a ritual that he knows but doesn't have the ability to use. It takes a long time to cast (an entire night) and is risky - it can permanently harm the Thaumaturgist, or even kill him. The ritual can only be used with a ritual of 1 level higher than the Thaumaturgist can cast. Basically it would allow a 13th generation Thaumaturgist to cast a 6th level ritual, with a chance of failing or the character dying. He'd have to think it was worthwhile.

System: The Thaumaturgist must draw the diagram using his own vitae (5 blood points are required), then start to cast this ritual when he rises at the end of the day. This ritual continues for the entire night, finishing just before dawn - note that it cannot be used with another ritual which takes all night! The Thaumaturgist gathers the magical energies, focusing them just before dawn into the ritual that he wants to use. The resulting burst of magical energies knocks him unconscious for 5 nights, minus his dots in Stamina (1 night is the minimum and Fortitude does not count). In addition to this, the ritual can be physically debilitating: the Thaumaturge must roll a Stamina check at diff 6 (again Fortitude does not count). If he fails then he permanently loses 1 dot of Stamina (may be brought up again normally) - if he botches this roll he dies instantly!

This powerful ritual is now a well-guarded secret since only a very few know it. This ritual actually allows a Thaumaturgist to lower her generation without the need for Diablerie. It is a very lengthy ritual requiring many special components. The most difficult is five pints of the blood of any kindred of the desired generation. Also required is a bath of purified water. This must be done by boiling the water for two days. The water must then be placed into a tub lined with silver. Over the next hour, the water must be kept warm and a special blend of herbs is added while a chant is recited. These herbs are bloodwort, bloodroot, and red poppies, ten coins worth of each (ten grams). The chant is in Welsh and must be done exactly (i.e.…must be a native speaker or have high linguistics and three successes on a linguistics roll). Once the stew is ready, the Thaumaturgist must add the blood to the bath and stir it with a stick or spoon of willow wood. More words are spoken until the blood diffuses through the water totally. Once the water has turned a deep crimson, the bath must be then stirred with a pure silver spoon in a right to left (counterclockwise) motion the number of times of the difference in the generations. Once the bath is ready, the Thaumaturgist must then lower her own generation to match this. Once she does this, she must sleep in the bath until the water turns back to clear. At that time, if the ritual was successful, she will have lowered her generation much like using Potent Blood, but on a more permanent scale.

System: Once all the ingredients are gathered, they must be placed into the ritual as outlined above. The difficulty is 8 for the first time. This requires a Wits+Occult role. For each subsequent try, the difficulty is reduced by one, but never lower than a difficulty of five. If this is done, then the water is properly prepared and the herbs have been added. Next, another role of Intelligence+Occult at & is needed to see if the blood is properly mixed in. If this is successful, an Intelligence+Linguistics roll is needed to see if the words are spoken correctly. This is at a difficulty of eight and requires two successes. The only way to avoid this roll is to be born in the 10th century in Wales. If the person has Welsh as a native tongue, but born later, the difficulty is seven and still needs two successes. With all of this done, now comes the hard part; the actual lowering of the generation. At this point, a choice can be made. The Thaumaturgist may try and drop her generations all at once, or try over a period of a few nights. One way is easier but takes longer while the other is faster, but more of a risk. First, they must use Blood of Potence to lower her to the equal generation. This does not need to be for any long period of time, so just doing it is fine. Quick: To do this in one night, after the generation has been lowered, the Thaumaturgist must submerge in the bath. She must be naked and completely under the water. Now she must gain ten successes using three willpower rolls at a difficulty of seven. A botch removes an equal number of successes. Basically, three rolls are made and the successes are pooled together. Botches remove successes from the pool. Only three rolls may be done. If successful, the ritual is completed and the new generation is achieved. Long: This is much safer, but takes longer. Here, she must gain at least twenty successes at a difficulty of eight. As long as she also completes a Willpower roll at a difficulty of 11 minus occult score, the bath remains. However, the bath will only last for three days at most. The Thaumaturgist is only allowed two rolls per night. Successes are pooled and botches remove from the pool. If successful, the outcome is the same. Results: Success: Generation lowered along the same manner as Rego Vitae 3. For a period of days equal to the difference in the old generation and new generation, the Thaumaturgist’s eyes will have a red tint to them. The aura will permanently have a red tinge to the extremities. Failure: The ritual was a flop. All the components are used and must be regained. Another five experience points must be spent to refuel the ritual. The ritual may also not be redone until the next moon of the type when done (one month real time). No other effects. Botch: Uh oh… Oh boy. Where to start? First off…you are alive…barely. This will reduce you to a blood pool of four, no matter what. Also, it will require 25 experience to be able to cast the ritual again. Also, if you are ever successful, you will get lines of gray like the black lines of a Diabolist. Also, you can never attain this generation forever. Even if you diablorize the entire generation, you can never attain it.

Components: Fourteen of the caster's blood points, A statue made of an igneous rock e.g. Marble, A blend of any seven herbs that grow naturally in the local area, And 70g of toenail clippings form the caster.

This ritual bestows a statue with a rudimentary intellingence. The statue may follow simple instructions that involve no intelligence and it may travel through any stonework or masonry as if travelling through water. Thus being able to float around a room by remaining in contact with the walls and ceiling. These animations travel at any speed up to brisk walking speed.

System: The caster must lay the statue horizontally and paint the surface with a paste made from the other ingredients daily (two blood points and 10g of nail clippings etc.) On the last day in the week the caster makes an Occult + Empathy roll difficulty 7 and if three successes are garnered then the statue awakens, awaiting the instructions of the caster. The statue will only obey the caster or whoever donated the blood for the ritual and the statue has Strength 3 Stamina 4 Four health levels with no dice pool penalties and every wound is treated as bashing damage. Every kine who notices it moving must make a Self Control test not to flinch and feel unnerved by it. This servant serves until stopped or destroyed.

This ritual allows the vampire to create a thin golden liquid which will keep indefinately in a sealed container. When this liquid is drunk by a Kindred it will purify their blood (reduce their Generation) - if it is drunk by a Ghoul or Mortal it will kill them instantly. Repeated use can have very bad effects upon the constitution.

System: The Thaumaturgist places the blood in a bowl, usually one of glass or glazed pottery (so that it is not wasted). He performs this ritual over the blood, which slowly purifies and condenses into the golden liquid - the liquid can be held in a sealed container until it is needed.

The drinker of this golden liquid will have their Generation reduced by 1 so long as they are of a higher Generation than the blood which was used to create the golden liquid. Further, golden liquid from a particular Kindred's blood will only reduce Generation once for the user (multiple drinks still have bad effects).

Note that the purification process prevents the nasty side-effects that are normally associated with drinking low-generation blood (such as blood bonds, loss of humanity, etc). Whether this ruling should apply to someone who uses the ritual with the Vitae of an Antidiluvian (or Caine) is a matter of speculation (you powergamer you!).

The Bad Side: This golden liquid can only *relatively* safely be used - after more drinks than the user's Stamina (Fortitude does not add) it has nasty effects upon the Stamina of the drinker. Each use after that will cause a permanent loss of 1 dot of Stamina (in much the same way as a Gangrel's loss of Social Attributes).

If Stamina ever reaches 0 dots the character will enter permanent torpor.

enthrall the bounded

System: take the thralls regents blood (must have the actual blood of the regent not the blood of the thrall), mix it in the metal container with the casters blood, and the white phospherous gas, and stir (dont shake!!!) with the marble crusher. once done you must ignite the mixture (courage diff 7 from the flash explosion but no damage done unless you're looking down upon it) now roll manipulation+occult diff 8 (1 success needed) now let the mixture go out takes about 30 minutes then the new thrall to be is to drink from the container

Any Kindred using this ritual may draw blood from themselves with a sharp object such as a razor, and let it bleed onto the object from the haven they wish to be transported to. If blood is drawn in this form it leaves a scar that may not be removed by ANY means. The Kindred must let 10 blood drip onto the object for 5 minutes. Then the object must be tossed into the air while the following phrase is intoned, " Return me now to my Haven, Haven is enough for any to survive." If used correctly a blood red cloud will form around the object and the Kindred, when it clears both will be gone. The Kindred will be standing outside his or her Haven of choice.

System: This ritual may only be used once per solstice. The scars are not healable in any way, including vicissitude. A roll is made of willpower+ Path of Thuamaturgy. If it is less than the Kindreds current pool the ritual succeds.

The vampire must inflict upon himself, seven individual aggravated wounds, which he cannot soak with fortitude. A retainer/ghoul/apprentice must gather up the caster's blood tears and place them in a silver chalice. The vampire, once the wounds are inflicted, is only allowed to feed from Lizards. Once fully recovered from all damage he must drink his tears from the silver chalace. Once the ritual is compleate, the tremere successfully has a hidden health level that he can activate at his leasure. Although it is not reccomended to use because of papercuts, it IS extremely handy for avoiding final death, and making quick recoveries. All four health levels can be used up at once, (no matter what genearation you are) or seperatly. Each time the ritual is done, the vampire gains one single hidden health level. The maximum amount of hidden levels is four...not that many vampires would wish to subject themselves to that much pain. (NOTE: it is not the damage, so much as the PAIN that makes this work. Any pain killer or enchantment used in this ritual will nullify the results.)

System: System: Once ritual compleated the user has a hidden health level which he can use at any time, without the use of blood. Up to 4 can be stored at a time. And can be used individually or all at once (no matter what generation you are)

This ritual is used to give your ghouls a defenet edge over your enemy, and in sometimes aid you in the powers you may use. The Thaumaturgist casts a circle with the blood of all the particapents. He then begins to speak in German "May the souls of me and my ally forever be as one let no one break us apart. If he is too die so shall I. May our powers be as one, hear my words oh darkness, may our souls be as one." The Thaumaturgist will then dip the blade in the virgin blood and cut a symbol into each persons right hand's palm, in the form of a Trident upside down.

System: This is a Larp ritual which I now use. With this ritual you then make a mental test. If the thaumaturgist wins or ties the two or more people are forever bound to each other and may use each others power, unfortunatly if one dies so does the other. The Ritual of Holding though wipes this one flaw away. Even if one dies the other does not and may still use the others power.

Useing Robert's Ritual Enchantment enchant the oak rod and dimoned. Leave Dimiond out in direct sunlight for a lest 6 hr's each day.(for 3 weekk's) Over the three week's time soak 40 blood points into the oak rod. Place another 5 in to the dimond. During the final phase place dimoned on the tip of the rod. Result's in one dimioned rod of smiteing.

System: Caster must spend 10 will power points at Final casting time. Diffeculty 7 aginst caster occult+Thamaturgy score's. At lest 6 sucesess's needed or total faiuler. and loss of all components.

By placing the blood in your mouth, and drinking of it, something deep within the vampire rouses and he becomes closer to caine. The vampire who 'donated' the blood shrinks from caine's glory.

System: After the blood was drunk, you must rest in your haven for the night. Next night you awaken and are for all practical purposes the generation of the kindred who's blood you 'borrowed'. That kindred also becomes your old generation for the Duration of th e ritual. The vampire instantly knows why and how this was done. He also knows exactly how long it will last. If the vampires whose blood you took is of equal or higher generation you fall into torpor for the normal duration.

Components: Emerald of great worth, either on a necklace or a ring. This emerald must be infused with the casters vitae, either by ritual, or one month of soaking time.

This ritual was designed to carry an elder from one side of the world to the other. Visiting a troublesome apprentice just isn't worth the hastle of taking a boat. The gate only will work if the caster has a working referance of a mirror his size on t he other side. This wil create a tempory link between them.

System: The caster must know of the other mirror, by working knowledge, or someone must inscribe a welcoming message rune on the back of the mirror. With casting a large circle of power is inscribed upon the originating mirror (must be large 10X10), and this circle will be his link to the other side.. It will have 2 way travel possable but only the caster will be able to access this unless he has attuned it to another, by infusing the stone to others. The Caster will be able to add one person per point of Tha umaturgy he possess. There are rumors of ways to send this ritual to someone else so they may use it at there convience.

The thaumaturgist will Tie down a gangrel ( unless a willing gangrel is on hand to perform even better) and and using the path of blood will make the gangrel expend a blood point to have him activate protean level 2 to grow the inch claws, using a saw or laser (somthing sharp or enchanted) The thaumaturgist will clip the claws until the thaumaturgist is left with over 1000 clippings, Rinse and repeat, using the brujah he would be using temporis stop time in the area the clippings are falling in and sustain them in time keeping them from rotting away and turning to dust, The thaumaturgist would then take these claws and either powder them up OR melt them down some how into a molten liquid metal alloy making whatever weapons the Gun smith OR black smith be protean tempered all damage would then be transfered from regular dmg to agg dmg....SYSTEM: All agg dmg from this is halved plus 1 but ALL is agg dmg, wielder must spend 2 blood points and 2 will power points to make weapon work for the ag dmg for EVERY NIGHT the wielder cares to make his weapon AGG Dmg. (sorry its a suck ass system but best i could come up with, but am taking suggestions)

Components: This ritual needs a mirror made from a sheet of polished silver, and a lot of blood.

This ritual was developed by the tremere as a final defence system for their havens. A bane spirit is summoned, and a deal struck; the spirit then inhabits the mirror until it someone not included in the enchantment passes in front of it. It then jumps out, materialises in the form of the intruder, and attacks him/her. in order to create the mirror, the caster must cast this ritual on thirteen nights when there is no moon- these need not be consecutive. All during each of the thirteen nights, the caster must drench the mirror in his own blood, using a silver dagger to slit his wrist.

System: On each night, the caster must spend three blood points (his own, not anyone else's), and make an extended willpower+occult roll(difficulty 7), each roll being on a separate night, with the number of sucesses determining the maximum generation vampire the enchantment can affect:- no. sucesses max. generation 0 none- the enchantment will only affect kine, not including "supernaturals" (garou, mages etc), but including ghouls 1 12th gen and above 2 11th gen and above 3 10th gen and above Etc. This ritual will not affect Lasombra, excepting those who cast a faint shadow.

Through the entire evening the caster will combine all of the vitae in a cauldron, with the goul sitting in the middle of the cauldron. once an hour during the full eight hours, the caster will pour a pound of the stone dust into the mixture. The stone dust will bond,with the blood and infuse the goul with it. After the last pound is added, (Around hour five) the cauldron will begin to smoke and bubble unnaturally. This is the creation process coming into it's final stage. When the smoke clears the newly created gargoyle will rise and greet it's maker. The blood bond will be apparent since it was made with the casters blood. This gargoyle will have the following diciplines in varying degrees: Fortitude 4 or higher, Potence of 5 or higher, Visceratika of 3 or higher, Presence in some form, Obvuscate 3 or higher, Obtenebration of some form, and Vicisitude of 3 or higher.

System: The tremere wishing to cast the ritual will be gone all evening as he must "Watch the kettle" periodically throughout the night the storyteller will perform a static challenge (LARP rules) to see if the caster is performing the ritual correctly. If he does then the Ritual will be successful, if not then the ritual will fail but only when the final creation is complete. The stone body of his goul will be found instead of the mighty gargoyle.

After melting the beeswax, candle and blood together shape it into an image of yourself. keep the miniature you on your person for the effects to work

System: allows teleportation to any place you have ever seen, (say your haven for example). As long as the object is on you, teleportating is as simple as the I Dream of Jeannie effect. the object acts to keep your body whole while porting. if the object is lost or destroyed, the ritual is broken. Teleportation to a place that is religious causes aggravated damage. Also porting to a place that is in day time can be severly fatal. so describe the exact location.

Sphere it will crumble into dust. You then must make a courage roll (difficulty to how many days the copy of yourself existed + 3. If you fail then you will loose 3 willpower points and one of your dexterity points will be lost for two (2) days. Since the ritualist will have COMPLETE control over the clone, he can control the movements of him if he wishes and what he speaks. If the rituallist would wish to see out of what the clone is seeing then he/she must use the Auspex discipline to do so and also add one (1) more difficulty point when doing this.

Make a pile of Britney Spears Wall Posters in the center of the room, face up. Place the 12 pine logs around the pile. Chop up the butterbeans and the tracheal tubes and stuff the boar's head with these objects. Sprinkle the head with dog hair and salt. Draw a circle on the ground five paces North of the pile of posters. Place the violet stems over the circle to form an inverted pentagram. Set the pile of posters on fire with your mind. This is important! You must not set them on fire with a match or a lighter because these objects have chemicals in them which will ruin the spell! While the fire is burning with a psychadelic light, rip one of the paper towels in half. Put seven paper towels in one pile and seven in the other. Gently crumple each pile separately. If you are male, insert one wad of towels over your left nipple and the other over your right. If you are female, insert the wads into your pants separately. You must now place the boar's head on as a hat. Holding the head with one hand and the paper towel area with the other, jump up and down in circles and chant "Vita Consa Mekca Aegra Lestros Manavistorinostas" TWENTY-SEVEN times backwards in a French, German, Russian, Spanish, African, and Southern (Americas) accent. When done correctly, this will make Oscamaya, the God of Meat Products, appear. Worship Him immediately and raw sausages, bacon, ham, turkey, chicken, and beef products will rain from the sky in frightening proportions. When you feel you have enough raw meat, simply ask the God to leave and He will do so. Congratulations! You have just completed the most important ritual of your entire life!

Components: Pure Silver Coin, one blood trait of bound individual's blood.

Depending on purity of silver in the coin and the generation of the blood of the bound individual, this ritual can be as short as 3 hours for a coin of .999 pure silver and 13th generation blood. In essence, the ritual calls upon that amount of soul imbued in the blood used to fuse it within the silver coin. Using a ritual similar to Cauldron of Blood mixed with Soul-Binding, the caster creates a stable artifact that holds more power than Dominati on over the bindee - they will risk potential destruction to fulfill what is asked when presented with the coin. The coin, upon making completion of said task, will be destroyed, returning the blood trait to the bindee. This artifact can be used as a weapon of destruction, all the holder must do is present it to the bindee and request they "sunbathe" or stake themselves. It is not a ritual for frivolous reasons. The blood trait does *not* have to be given willingly. This , in itself, makes it a ritual not to be spoken of to outsiders, lest a Prince attempt to rule a city with it being cast on all her subjects.

System: This ritual can only be performed by a Tremere of appropriate rank for this level. She must be attended by two of lesser rank, three of rank below that and so on, down to neonate level until a pyramid of Tremere has been formed with the caster at the pe ak. No interruptions can be made during the ritual lest the coin and blood be lost forever.

The weapon must be a melee weapon.

System: The thaumaturge slits his wrist and bleeds on the weapon for the duration of the casting time. The ability to be imbued must be selected at casting. Once completed the weapon will, upon striking an enemy, perform the selected ability on them. This lasts for a number of hits (i.e. misses don't count) equal to the number of successes scored. NOTE: This ritual can be cast on an arrow or a crossbow bolt, but said item must be recovered to be used again. After all you only cast the ritual on the one arrow or bolt.
