Spotted Owl Unit

Whoooo! Whooo! Who solved the mystery of the missing spotted owls? What would you do if you were a member of an owl inventory team in charge of researching spotted owls? When you arrived at your research destination, you discovered that several owls were gone. Third graders took on this challenge. Researching the spotted owl's habitat, food chain, and appearance allowed us to make a hypothesis about the missing spotted owls. A culminating activity, based on our research, was to develop a HyperStudio stack.
