Jazz Lab:

Directed by Assistant Director of Bands DJ Alstadt, Jazz lab is open to anyone and everyone who wants to experience the world of Jazz. Performances take place at many jazz festivals, and the Jazz Cafe.

Jazz Band:

Jazz Band is directed by Rich Groeling, Director of Bands at Lincoln Junior Hight School, and is second in the NCHS Jazz hierarchy. Placement in Jazz Band is based on a jazz audition and is only open to members of an NCHS Performance band. Jazz Band performs at statewide Jazz Festivals and the Jazz Cafe.

Jazz Ensemble:

Directed by Naperville Central's Director of Bands Ken Kaiser, Jazz Ensemble is Central's premeire jazz group. Placement is based on a Jazz audition and is open only to members of an NCHS Performance band. Members of the Jazz Ensemble competes at local and regional festivals, participates in a musician exchange program in Germany on a semi-annual basis, and performs at the NCHS Jazz Cafe.
