Our Mission:

     "The Science Department is dedicated to the concept of the total education of a student. Science is but one facet of a broad spectrum of enlightenments and education. The role of the Science Department is not only that of providing experimental learning opportunities in various science disciplines, but, more importantly, providing opportunities for secondary students to gain an appreciation of the true meaning of science as a search for the truth."

     Welcome to the new web page for the Science Department. This site is entirely for the students and the parents at NCHS. Here you can find information on all of the different courses offered, the individual classes, and the teachers.

     The Science Department office is located in the flat wing of the school. There are many different labratories where all the classes are taught.
