LINCOLN ACADEMY OF ILLINOIS
STUDENT LAUREATE AWARD
This award honors an outstanding senior from each of the four-year degree granting institutions of higher learning in Illinois.
Student Laureates are honored for their overall excellence in curricular and co-curricular activities. The student must have a cumulative and major GPA of not less than 3.00. Each recipient will receive a certificate of achievement and a check for $150 to cover travel and other expenses.
The winner will be awarded the Student Lincoln Academy Medallion and thereby become a Student Laureate. Recipients attend a special ceremony held in the House of Representatives of the Illinois State Capital in Springfield, Illinois.
Nominations are solicited in the Fall.
