Noah Birch
Noah
is majoring in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics and carries
a 3.97 G.P.A. The department chairman that nominated
Noah states “Over the
past 11 years I have interacted with literally hundreds of students pursuing careers in
science, technology and the health professions. In my opinion, Noah Birch is
indisputably the top
student in this group. He
has a superior intellect and possesses an impeccable character.” He
is the recipient of the IIT Leadership scholarship, the 2003 & 2004
Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges
Award and has been on the Dean’s list his entire time at IIT. After
Noah graduates in May 2006, he plans to go to medical school.
Noah
is currently treasurer of the Honors Medical Society, secretary of
the Residence Halls Association and a member of the Vietnamese Student
Association. He tutors other students in chemistry and does
research as a laboratory assistant for the Biology department.
Noah
is a certified emergency room nursing assistant at Palos Community
Hospital and is currently conducting chemistry research in the area
of organic synthesis.
