PARKING FOR THE DISABLED

The HawkCard and Parking Services Office makes reasonable effort to provide accessible parking accommodations for persons with disabilities. The following guidelines have been established regarding parking for the disabled.

EMPLOYEES, STUDENTS, AND AFFILIATES

IIT employees, students, or affiliates that wish to utilize designated handicap parking spaces on campus must display a state issued handicap placard as well as an IIT issued parking permit.

VISITORS (Official Guests of Members of the IIT Community)

Visitors displaying a state issued handicap placard may utilize complimentary handicap spaces designated in various Visitor Parking areas on campus. These spaces are available in lots A4, B6, C1, and D5-V. Vehicles displaying the placard but parking at an undesignated space are responsible for displaying an IIT permit appropriate to the location or feeding the meter/paybox.
