Repositionable Stickers

In effort to enhance parking control & enforcement, all annual & academic year permits will be issued as repositionable decal stickers.

Your sticker should be placed on the rear windshield, on the passenger side, in the lower right corner.

Repositionable stickers are firm, but movable, so you may switch it to an alternate vehicle registered with Parking Services when needed.

Permit Expiration

With the exception of RED permits, all stickers will expire and should therefore be renewed and replaced by the date indicated on the sticker for continued parking access. RED stickers are valid through May 2010 and August 2010. RED ACADEMIC permits are not valid June-August.

Multiple Vehicle Registrations

Permit holders should register any alternate vehicles that are brought to campus.

Permits may not be shared or transferred. Sharing your permit will result in the revocation of your parking privileges.

You may move your repositionable sticker to your alternate registered vehicle on any occasion.

Enforcement staff will verify in the field whether the vehicle is registered to the permit.

If you’d rather leave your sticker on your primary vehicle when using an alternate vehicle, stop by our office upon arrival to campus, utilize one of our 15 minute loading spaces in the Hub lot, and pick up a courtesy pass.

An additional sticker may be purchased for one alternate vehicle may be purchased for a $50.00 fee.

Do you have Citations?

Permit holders are expected to adhere to the parking and traffic regulations of IIT and are not exempt from parking citations and towing.

Confirm that you have no unpaid parking citations by calling 312-567-8968 to ensure prompt processing of your permit renewal.

US Cellular permit holders may park in eligible “black star” lots during the following times: Monday-Friday, 3 p.m.-12 a.m. & Saturday-Sunday, 7 a.m.-12 a.m. University Holidays, Semester Breaks, and June-August (Please refer to the IIT parking map (Main Campus map) for eligible parking lots.)
