*US Cellular permit holders may park in eligible “black star” lots during the following times:
Monday-Friday, 3 p.m.-12 a.m. & Saturday-Sunday, 7 a.m.-12 a.m.
University Holidays, Semester Breaks, and June-August
(Please refer to the IIT parking map (Main Campus map) for eligible parking lots.)
The permit fees noted above are outlined to reflect the cost on a semester basis for the Fall & Spring respectively. The summer fee is charged with the Spring. IIT Affiliate students must pay for their permit selection in full upon issuance. All permits are issued on an academic and annual basis only. Refunds will be issued for Annual permits only in the case that the purchaser graduates or transfers from IIT. Proper documentation will be needed to process all refunds.
The deadline for student account billing is Friday, September 4, 2009 at 5:00pm. Beginning Monday, September 7, 2009 the full permit cost must be paid up front.
The IIT Student Parking Plan…
If you are a new permit holder, bring a copy of your vehicle registration when you pick up your permit.
By presenting this information you are accepting responsibility for the vehicle, even if the vehicle is not registered in your name with the DMV.
Your permit fee will be charged to your student account on a semester basis for the duration of your selected permit. The fee will be assessed to your student account upon confirmation of class registration only.
Any unpaid parking citations will need to be paid prior to issuance of a parking permit. You may elect to have them charged to your student account on your parking application.
Your consent to charging miscellaneous fees to your student account will enable you to renew your permit online, transfer any citations to your student account, and centralize billing so your tuition, parking, and other fees can be included with your tuition bill.
We will process your application while you wait and issue a parking hangtag to display on your rear-view mirror.

Students of IIT Affiliates (VanderCook, Shimer, Lewis University, etc…)
Present a completed student parking application form with *proof of vehicle registration to the Access, Card, & Parking Services Office in Hermann Hall 201.

Full payment for your permit selection is required at the time of issuance.
Acceptable methods of payment include cash, personal check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
