VISITOR PARKING

Visitor parking is paid parking by meter or self-service paybox. Visitor lots will be enforced Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Parking meters are intended for short-term visits. All-day guests should park in self-service pay lots. Visitor parking rates are as follows:

METERS

The current meter rate is $0.25/ 15 minutes. Max times are noted on each meter and vary by location.

SELF-SERVICE PAY LOTS

Lots A4 and D5-V are managed by a paybox. The paybox accepts bills and coin, issues a ticket (visitor permit), which should be visibly displayed on the vehicle dashboard. The hourly rate is $1.00 with a maximum time of 8 hours. Guests visiting in excess of 8 hours may obtain an all-day pass in the A4 lot for $10.00.

Temporary permits may be purchased by official guests from the HawkCard and Parking Services Office. The current rates are as follows.

Weekly Rate $25.00

Monthly Rate $50.00

IIT departments that wish to sponsor official guests or event parking may obtain One-Day Passes at a discounted rate. Contact the HawkCard and Parking Services Office for details and pricing.
