Survey Reporting
Survey reports are provided as either electronic (PDF) files or bound paper copies. The reports are designed for easy interpretation through the use of attractive color graphs and tabular displays of data. Survey results are provided for survey categories (e.g., pay and benefits, communication) and for the specific items contained in the survey. Reports are designed to meet the client’s needs with respect to comparisons to the BAI norms, reference to historical data from the client’s previous administrations, and other internal comparisons by subgroups (e.g., department, branch, region, tenure). A comments report is also provided that provides employees’ verbatim comments in response to open ended questions. The comments are typically organized by subgroups.
Thematic (Content) Analysis of Written Comments
A thematic or content analysis of written comments involves trained professionals reviewing and coding each employee’s written comments according to common themes. Both positive and developmental themes are represented, and the number of employees who submitted comments related to each theme is tabulated and graphically displayed. Many clients find this systematic analysis of the written comments to be an important complement to the numeric data obtained through the scaled response items.
Executive Summary Analysis
The executive summary report is an overview presentation of survey results to management and employee groups. Many clients use this professionally developed, custom summary report as a basis for their employee feedback efforts. The report provides an overview of the survey findings in terms of the most favorably rated survey categories and items, and those areas that represent important opportunities for improvement. In partnership with the client, the report can include contextual information regarding organizational change and past, present, or planned survey-based initiatives. Recommendation for employee feedback, action planning, and organization development can also be incorporated at the client’s request.
Key Driver Analysis
Driver analysis is a way to understand the factors contributing to committed, engaged employees – and the linkages that result from employee attitudes and opinions. The following key driver analysis packages provide insights on how to improve your ability to attract and retain employees, as well as engagement and customer satisfaction levels.
Drivers of Employee Commitment and Retention
This analysis defines the dimensions (e.g., supervisory practices, the job itself) that most strongly impact employees’ commitment and, subsequently their decisions to stay with or leave your company.
Drivers of Employer of Choice
This analysis will yield a summary and recommendation report that identifies key organizational assets/issues that should be leveraged/addressed to solidify or enhance your company’s position as an employer of choice.
Drivers of Service Climate
This analysis identifies the key organizational factors that are impacting your employees’ service orientation and presents conclusions and recommendations to enhance the quality of customer service.
Linkage Analysis
Linkage analysis examines the relationships that exist between employee survey data and independent, external business metrics such as customer satisfaction, sales, and share of wallet. For financial institutions, it is particularly useful when survey data and key performance indicators are correlated at the branch level. This research methodology enables the institution to identify the causal factors that differentiate high performing branches, and leads to more consistent performance levels across your organization’s network.
