Welcome
As a student of IIT, you are entitled
to a wide variety of programs and services. The Student Health Center
(SHC) is a primary care facility that is sensitive to diversity. You may
make an appointment to see the Nurse Practitioners and/or physician as
many times per semester as needed, with no office visit charge. Some
services require a minimum fee, but these charges are generally much
lower than comparable services provided elsewhere. In order to service
our students most efficiently, we ask that you make an appointment to see
either the NPs or the physician.
You may also access educational /
printed materials provided by the SHC. These materials are designed to
help you make informed decisions regarding your health.

Show Policy:
A “NO SHOW” is defined as missing
an appointment without canceling at least 15 minutes before the scheduled
time.
Effective
1st August 2007, - First “NO SHOW” will be noted.

Second “NO SHOW” will result in a $10 fee!
Please note that due to the high volume of patients we see on
a daily basis, we may not be able to accommodate all walk-ins. Students
who wish to be seen at the student health center are recommended to call
the health center and make an appointment at (312) 808-7100. For
emergencies, please call IIT Public Safety at 312- 808 - 6363.
