Directions:

  1. Choose a word part from column A

  2. Choose a word part from column B.

  3. Combine A and B to create a new word.

  4. Note: the letters in parentheses are connecting vowels. You may or may not need to use them. In this exercise, you might not repeat the connecting vowels.

    For example, herb(i) + ist = herbist, one who specializes in herbs,( not “herbiist”)

  5. Define each created new word.
