MEAL PLAN CHOICE

Students have a number of meal plans to choose from and many come with an allotment of Bonus Points each semester.  Bonus Points give you convenient access to meals or snacks during all hours of operation, whereas meals must be used during designated meal periods in the Commons Cafeteria. Bonus Points may be used at any Sodexo outlet or at the Global Grounds Coffee Café.  Meals and Bonus Points may only be used by you when you are present. You may use your Bonus Points to treat a parent or a friend to a meal.

HAWK POINTS

Hawk Points can be added to your student ID through the Card, Access and Parking Office and can used exactly like Bonus Points for food purchases.  Hawk Points do not expire.  Hawk Points do not require a meal plan.

TRANSFERABILITY

Students who are on the 19 or 14 meal plans also have an opportunity to use a meal in Center Court Café, or “transfer” a meal.  This transferability allows 3 lunch meals, Monday - Friday, from 12:45 pm - 2:00 pm and 3 dinner meals, Monday through Wednesday, from 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm.   There is no transferability on the weekends.  Meal Transferability has a $6.75 limit.  If you spend more than the allowed $6.75, you may use your Bonus Points, Hawk Points, credit card, or cash to pay the difference.
