MEAL PLAN CHOICES

Meal Plans are designed to provide students access to all-you-care-to-eat meals in The Commons Cafeteria in the McCormick Tribune Campus Center (MTCC).

Students have a number of meal plans to choose from and many come with an allotment of Bonus Points each semester.  Bonus Points give you flexibility and convenient access to meals or snacks during all hours of operation, whereas meals must be used during designated meal periods (Breakfast, Lunch, Brunch and Dinner) in the Commons Cafeteria.  Bonus Points may be used at any IIT Dining Services outlet.  Meals and Bonus Points are not transferable and can only be used by the owner of the Meal Plan/HawkCard.

MEAL PLANS

  • Unlimited Allows students unlimited meals in The Commons with $50 in Bonus Points per semester.  With this plan, you can stop by The Commons for breakfast, lunch and dinner and stop by in-between meals for a quick snack or beverage as often as you like.  The Unlimited Meal Plan is best for those that may not be able to make it to the preset meal periods right on time.
  • 14 Plus Provides students 14 all-you-care-to-eat meals per week in The Commons during preset meal periods with $175 Bonus Points per semester for use in the retail dining locations on campus.  14 Plus is the most popular Meal Plan.  It provides a flexible dining experience with 2 meals a day plus Bonus Points to cover the third meal of the day.
  • Create Your Own Provides students 175 all-you-care-to-eat meals per semester in The Commons during preset meal periods.  Twice a semester, students will be allowed to convert meals to Bonus Points with and exchange rate of $6.00 per meal converted.  Bonus Points can be used to dine in any of Sodexo's retail dining locations on campus.
