Welcome to the Illinois Institute of Technology! The IIT chapter of SWE congratulates you on all your accomplishments so far.

When you come in the fall, you will be joining a dynamic group of women. SWE strives to be the number one resource for all women at IIT. Our national association is the largest non-profit organization that represents both student and professional women in engineering and technical fields.

SWE has many initiatives on campus. This year, SWE sponsored numerous events such as Women's Jeopardy, research presentations, ice cream socials, and company tours. Next year, we are planning to do much more! Come meet other women and help the Girl's Night Out, or challenge some guys to a friendly game of Women's Jeopardy. Meet and learn from amazing women in the academic and professional worlds. This organization will let you form connections to people, companies, and institutions which will give you more opportunities and open doors in your career.

You've come to IIT in exciting times. I hope that you will come to our events and become involved in SWE! If you want to be a step ahead, I urge you to go to our National Website and become a member. A SWE membership is a powerful thing, and you'll get many benefits from national membership.
