Numerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations
General Information:
The course introduces numerical methods
for solving different types of partial different equations (parabolic,
hyperbolic and elliptic equations). The main numerical issues such as
convergence and stability will be discussed. Topics include
finite difference methods, introduction to spectral method,
finite volume method and finite element method.
