Hello! I am Jackie (Yi-Chun) Lin.

I earned my master degree ofTechnical Communication and Information Design from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago in May 2008. My interesting research topics include innovative concept bulding, user research, user-centered design, information architecture, and usability testing. Specifically, I did my master project of "Internet Go!:Dynamic Personalized Information Page
for Mobile Internet." In the project, I focused on how to apply human-centered design approaches to the design of a personalized page prototype for managing and browsing the internet content in the mobile environment for my master project.
During studying at IIT, I was awarded the assistantship as an the IIT usability specilist at the Usability Testing & Evaluation Center to help Dr. Feinberg do the HCI projects or research. Also, before entering IIT, I was the product manager and web editor for online community services in PChome online Inc, the second top portal site in Taiwan, and MSN Taiwan respectively. While working, I loved to discovering the the better experience to design the user-friendly products for users.
