Note: All daytime programs are intended to be in person. In April, based on local and national guidelines around COVID-19, we will determine if the program should be run online. Should the program run online, the total cost of the program will be reduced, and your deposit will be applied toward the new program cost. Deposits are fully refundable until May 15. Please reference the refund policy for more information.

Program Description

Biomedical engineers improve our health and lives through advances such as artificial organs, sophisticated robot-operated surgical equipment, advanced medical imaging, and deep brain stimulation. In this course, students will be introduced to the range of opportunities and applications in biomedical engineering. Students will learn to use electrophysiology laboratory equipment and software to measure and analyze their own heart, muscle, and brain electrical signals.
