Introduction to Robotics—Middle School

Whether it be in manufacturing, medicine, or your very own home, robots are everywhere! New strides in robotics are being made every day thanks to innovative engineers. This is the course to discover this ever expanding field of engineering. Learn how software and hardware work together through hands-on activities. Use kits to wire and build your very own robot from scratch. Then program your robot to move and respond to its environment, just like the professionals do. Apply your knowledge to design and test your robot with the help of experienced engineers and students. The course concludes with a competition between robots for the championship.

NOTE: Due to unforeseen circumstances surrounding COVID-19, all in-person daytime programs have been cancelled. We will resume our on-campus Pre-College daytime programs in summer of 2021.
