Illinois Tech Pre-College Summer Programs FAQ—COVID-19

Thank you for your interest in Illinois Tech’s Pre-College Summer Programs. We understand that this is a stressful time due to the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19). Here is a list of frequently asked questions to help address some of your concerns as you think about your summer plans.

Will you offer online summer programs?

Illinois Tech is offering a variety of Computing and Technology programs in June and July. Additional information for these programs will be posted soon.

Are you offering any in-person summer programs?

All in-person Pre-College Summer Programs have been cancelled due to health and wellness concerns from COVID-19. If you have registered for one of our in-person programs, our Pre-College team will be in touch with you about refunding your program fee in mid-April.

What is your refund policy?

If you registered for one of our in-person daytime or residential programs, you will receive a full refund. Our Pre-College team is reaching out to parents next week regarding refunds for our in-person programs.

Program fees for our online programs are non-refundable.

Can international students participate in Pre-College programs?

All Illinois Tech online Pre-College programs are open to international students. 

Does Illinois Tech offer any after school enrichment opportunities?

Yes! From April 27–May 1, Illinois Tech will offer an online program in game design. Visit Game Design: Interactive Storytelling for more information and to register.
